125th year
Founded in 1883, 2008 sees the Grange Dyvours Tennis celebrate its 125th year. So it’s up to you to set the standards for the next 125 years.
Floodlights
The long awaited floodlighting of Court 8 has happened. Once the wallflower of the all weather courts, court 8 is now the most sought after surface following the installment of 6 new floodlights, perfect for those dark nights.
Windbreaks
A series of new windbreaks, some of which will be sporting the club's new web site address, are to be hung on a number of the courts so no more excuses for serves going awol in swirling winds.
Plasma Screen
A 50” plasma screen has been installed in the ‘Long Room’, ideal for watching the big events including this years Wimbledon Finals. See social calendar for details
150 Club
Don't forget about the 150 Club. There have been some changes to the way the prizes are drawn - check here for details.
Keeping in Touch
If you are planning to move house please let us know so that we can update your membership information. This way you won't miss out on any newsletters or other correspondence.
We will be keeping in touch with you with details of events, updates and results. If your email address has changed or to ensure we have the correct address, please email info@grangedyvourstennis.org.
Shoe Tags
Make sure you wear your shoe tag. We must make sure our courts are enjoyed by members only. You may be asked to leave if you do not have proof of membership. Similarly, please ensure padlocks on court gates are locked when you are the last to leave.
Tennis shoes
To maintain the quality of the courts, in particular the grass, it is essential to wear flat tennis shoes, not running shoes or studs.
Guests
If you are inviting a guest to play tennis please complete the guest from and pay £5 at the bar (or in the post box when the bar is closed). This will be exchanged for a guest shoe tag. Remember you may only invite guests a maximum of 12 times a year in total.
