Strawberry Cup
We had a fantastic afternoon on Sunday for the Strawberry Cup. We had 42 players plus guests and many rose to the challenge of fancy dress and lots of people donned some pink clothing to go with the theme of "strawberries and cream" - photos here, thanks to Chris! Lots of pink fizz (upmarket to prosecco this year no less!) and delicious canapes and afternoon tea all contributed to a great event.
Finals night and the Grange Ball
Just a reminder now of dates for your diary - Saturday 28 August for the Final's Party and 2 October for the Grange Ball.
150 Club
Join the Tennis 150 Club where you pay just £5 per month with an opportunity to win a maximum of £367.50 four times a year - and help support the Tennis Club too. Just choose an available number 1-49 from the list on the 150 Club page, read through the rules, complete and post the form provided.

Court times reminder
We are having a fantastic summer of grass court tennis thanks to the groundsmen's (Lee and Richard) hard work in maintaining them to a standard that is the best we have had in years. However we need your help in this!
Courts 3, 4 and 5 are open from 11am and courts 1 and 2 from 5pm during the week and from 1pm at weekends. Please stick to these hours. If you play on the courts outwith those hours it means that Lee and Richard can't get onto them to maintain them. They won't come and turf you off (pardon the pun!) - it is not for them to police the tennis courts - but it will mean that the courts won't get done until later in the day which may mean that they are then not ready for evening tennis.
Discounts
We have arranged a 15% discount for sports massage for Grange members with Ray Head - see www.Head4Health.com for contact details. He charges £40 for an hour and £25 for 30 mins before discount. Two of the committe members can recommend him!
If you have any discounts that you can arrange/offer to Grange members then we'd be delighted to hear from you.
Astro turf court booking facility
We now have a new on-line court booking facility available for the astro turf courts. Click on the link in the menu on the left and follow the instructions.
Court locks
The combination has been emailed to everyone but if you need reminding just contact us. If no-one comes onto the court after you please ensure that you lock the court with the padlock and turn the dials away from the setting.
Committee Members
Dyvours is looking for new committee members. If you are interested and can help out, or simply want to find out more about what may be involved, please speak to one of the committee or email Avril. You don't have to give a lot of time but any time you can spare is vital as the section can't run without volunteers, so if you can help out at all, please let us know.
