Spanish Tournament
The last event of the grass season was gamely attended by a number of people keen to play despite the Gale Force 6 winds ... Thanks to Neil Wilkinson for organising and keeping the games expertly moving along with his whistle. Although Colin MacBrayne technically won with 25 points, there was a doubles final play-off with the 3 runners up, Adrienne Forman, Dawn MacBrayne and Alison Hanlon - the latter two won the event overall - well done ...
Tennis AGM
This years Tennis AGM will be held in the Longroom on Wednesday 12th October at 7.15pm. If you have any questions that you would like to be raised at the AGM please could you email in advance so that they can be included in the Agenda. Sale of Tennis Tubes
We have a limited supply of new Dunlop Tennis Balls to purchase - £4 per tube. If interested please email info@grangedyvourstennis.org and arrangements will be made to meet at tea hut when mutually suits.
Club Championships
Despite the weather, but disappointingly played mainly on the all-weather courts rather than the grass courts, the August Champs have drawn to a successful conclusion. Thanks for Stephen Davey for organising and his able assistant Ali Craik, thanks also to Anne Rees for collating all the Champs fees. more here
Strawberry Cup - Sunday 24 July

Astro turf court booking facility
A reminder of the rules for booking the astro-turf courts.
The astro turf courts may only be booked for one 90 minute slot at peak times. I have noticed a couple of double bookings recently and when I do I will go in and amend them to the first 90 minute slot only. However please do not book them for double slots - this is against the rules which are intended to allow everyone reasonable access to the courts.
Also, when booking the courts please put 2 names, e.g. A Fraser/N Ross, NOT just A Fraser.
Court locks
The combination has been emailed to everyone but if you need reminding just contact us. If no-one comes onto the court after you please ensure that you lock the court with the padlock and turn the dials away from the setting.
Committee Members
Dyvours is looking for new committee members. If you are interested and can help out, or simply want to find out more about what may be involved, please speak to one of the committee or email Avril. You don't have to give a lot of time but any time you can spare is vital as the section can't run without volunteers, so if you can help out at all, please let us know.
